Slide City Waterpark in Atlanta | 11alive.com
ATLANTA — Drivers on I-75 this week may have noticed an interesting sight — dozens of inflatable water slides peeking over the divider between an Atlantic Station parking lot and the interstate.
These colorful displays are part of Slide City's tour, which brings pop-up water parks to cities across the U.S. The park is set up in Atlanta on 20th Street through Sunday.
Their Instagram boasts over 35 inflatable water slides, 200 feet of obstacle courses, foam parties, live DJs, local food trucks, and more. Slide City's "Aqua World" stretches over 5,000 square feet at the Pinnacle Lot.
On Saturday, they're hosting an HBCU and Divine Nine family day, promising fun for all ages. Party goers are encouraged to wear their colors or letters to rep their fraternity, sorority, or school.

Last Tuesday, drivers got an unexpected dose of summer fun when several inflatables went airborne onto I-75. Powerful storm winds pushed the water slides up and over the interstate divider, turning rush hour into splash hour.
For Atlanta drivers who already fear rain and heavy traffic, it seems they should now be on the lookout for rogue inflatables, too. Happy sliding!
